Human Ingenuity Applied to Macro Representaton

Alright, the default gameboy classic Tetris is an amazing feat. Personally, I would have used the opportunity to pick up chicks, but that’s just me.

Postmodern Sideshow is under reconstruction

The real way a professional organization changes their website is as follows:

  1. Set up seperate server
  2. Set up new website on server
  3. Make all painstaking changes on separate server until complete.
  4. Point URL to new server

This is what we did:

  1. Backup old server.
  2. Delete old server.
  3. Try something that you know can’t be installed in less than a day.
  4. Go to work. Dodge Layoffs.
  5. Slowly tinker with setup, only to realize it’s a monstrosity.
  6. Try some other service
  7. Repeat until satisfied.

I’m a little confused as to why someone as pragmatic as myself went about platform changes so haphazardly. Regardless. Change is here. The website should be back up and running in…oh I don’t know, a month or so.
